AI Agents

AI Agents are first-class members of your team in Tradie. They sit on the same org chart as your plumbers, admins, and office managers — because they do the same kind of work: watch for things, answer things, draft things.

Find them at Setup → AI Agents.

The 5 agents seeded by default

• Scout — watches prices on your preferred parts at Bunnings / Reece / Tradelink. Pings you when a better deal shows up on something you buy often.
• Quote AI— drafts quotes from your video walkthroughs. This is the core Tradie pipeline, just surfaced as a team member so it's visible in your org.
• Dispatcher — suggests which plumber to assign to a new job based on location + specialty. Respects the office assignments on your Team Roster.
• Compliance — watches AS3500 backflow test windows and plumber licence renewal dates. Reminds you before anything expires.
• Collections — nudges customers on overdue invoices. Uses the aging buckets from the Payments → Receivables tab.

Enable / disable

Every agent starts disabled. You flip the toggle on the agent card to enable. Tradie records enabled since the moment you first turn an agent on, which shows up on the card footer.

Custom agents

The Add custom agent button lets you create a new agent slot — name, category, description, model reference, icon color. For now custom agents are metadata; they become active when the backing model + rules are wired in a future sprint.

Note: Agents are team members, not tools. Invite them to specific offices (same as any plumber) once per-office scoping lands. Agent activity logs ship in a future release.
